Exterior of Lexington Tea & Brie Tea Room

Who doesn't love dressing up, grabbing the girls and having yourself a day? Well I’ve got the perfect spot for your next excursion!

Picture this, you channel your inner Bridgerton era character. Put on your cute sundress, maybe a hat or fascinator, grab the girls and head to the most beautiful tea room in Lexington. You’ll find yourself at Lexington Tea and Brie located in downtown Lexington at 219 North Limestone, Lexington, KY 40507

Interior of Lexington Tea & Brie Tea room

This gorgeous tea room in Lexington has beautiful flowers dripping from the ceiling, walls covered in pink with unique colorful art. Each table is set to perfection with vintage tea sets, fresh flowers and menu’s for you to make your selections from a variety of finger sandwiches, scones with accompanying spreads, delicate pastries, and a steaming pot of your favorite blend.

So how does the tea room work? First and foremost, you’ll need to make a reservation on their website. They sell out dates and times, so they don’t really do walk-ins. Once you arrive, you’ll see your name on the table for your party with a time slot. Get yourself situated, and then you’ll see a menu on the table that outlines all the options. A server will come around and give you the lay of the land, and ask for your selections. For the afternoon tea, you get to choose 3 tea sandwiches from a variety of options including chicken salad, benedictine, pimento cheese and more. You’ll choose one scone flavor, again with a variety of options like a savory cheddar scone, or sweet options like blueberry. Lastly, you get a variety of sweet treats. These are typically pre-selected. When I went, it included a lemon bar, macaroon, and a chocolate cream cup. Everything was amazing! Lastly, you’ll select your tea flavor. They have a ton of options, and the menu gives you flavor profiles of each.

They have a variety of additional add-ons if you would like cocktails, mocktails, wines or additional food options including premium sandwiches, and soups. I had the Potato soup add-on, and it was great.

Your picks will come out on the cutest and most picturesque tiered dish for you to enjoy your meal, tea and company for an all around good time.

Cost: The afternoon tea costs $30 per person, with a gluten-free option available for $35. There are also child teas which are $20 per person with kid friendly food options like nutella sandwiches, PB&J and more.

Parking: If you are like me, and downtown parking gets you a bit nervous this is for you! Street parking is available right in front of the tea room. Saturdays & Sundays you don't have to pay, but if you visit during the week, it is metered parking.
