Fall is in full swing here in Kentucky and it’s prime time to experience some of the great fall outdoor activities. I personally believe that fall and Christmas time in Kentucky is the best season to celebrate in the bluegrass. Whether you are a local or a visitor, you are bound to have some fall fun and make memories at these activities. Nancy, Kentucky is a hidden gem of a town close to Lake Cumberland with tons of awesome family-friendly fall activities. Even if you don’t have kids, a visit to the pumpkin patch, apple orchard, a stroll through the corn maze, or jumping on a hayride is good for the soul. Activities: Enjoy over 20 attractions at the farm, pumpkins, photo-ops and more. This is our second year going to the Bear Wallow Fall FarmFest and this year we took my nieces and sister. From the pig races, tractor rides, live music, fire pits, slides and playgrounds, swings, petting zoo, apple cannons, Paintball and more, there are hours and hours of endless fun.
Food: You also won’t go hungry at Bear Wallow Fall FarmFest. They have full meals served in multiple spots around the farm like pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers and more.
