Wild Lights at the Louisville Zoo

Looking for a fun activity for the family? Maybe a last minute mothers day activity or just something to do on a warm spring evening?

Wild Lights around the world at the Louisville Zoo is here and a great family activity. The exhibits include thousands of handcrafted silk-covered lanterns with more than 50,000 LED light bulbs. Displays range from fireworks, huge landmarks from across the US, animals of all kinds, and fun interactive displays. You’ll venture from New York, to the African Sahara, see the Egyptian Pyramids, landmarks in China and more.

The lights have been extended and will be around through June 4th. Each Thursday through Sunday, starting at 6:30 pm, head over to the zoo and check out the fun displays with different around the world themes. Advanced online tickets are required so make sure to go to the Louisville Zoo website in advance to grab tickets. Individual tickets will run you $19-$22 depending on membership and children under 2 are free.
